Lostland is an independent travel guide based in the UK. We write the destination guides we wish existed — opinionated, useful, and free of fluff.
We make money through affiliate partnerships with Booking.com, Skyscanner and Expedia. When you book through a link on our site, those companies pay us a small commission — at no extra cost to you. It's what keeps the site free and ad-light.
We never recommend a hotel, tour or airline just because it pays better. If we wouldn't book it ourselves, it doesn't go on the site.
