Handmade Papyrus Meteorite Vase

This vase symbolises the art of simplicity. The primitive sgraffito design is produced by scratching into the top layer to reveal a contrasting base colour, and belies the pure craftsmanship and timing involved in its making.

It is a hand-thrown vase, sturdy and heavy, but pleasingly beautiful and perfectly symmetrical in shape. It truly is a unique piece, thrice-glazed with a gorgeous off-white glaze and a homely earthy grey with a natural green inside and on the base. Team with other equally unusual pieces for a simple, but eye-catching display that will defy anyone not to want to touch.
